Small, smaller, smallest .....
This small fogging plant - whose origin goes back to 2002, when it was developed following suggestions from the Austrian Orchid Society - provides a real micro-fogging facility for owners of orchidariums, terrariums or small glasshouses at a challenging price.
The emphasis is on the term "fog", because other systems which are based on smallish pumps or tap water pressure are at best spraying- or sprinkling-systems. The Plantfog system is bases on decades of experience designing and installing high pressure fogging plants for many areas of agriculture, forestry or gardening. The application of technological methods and experience of these installations has guaranteed the quality of our "tropic".
The all-metal pump utilized in the "tropic" is able to provide a pressure of more than
20 bar (!) which is sufficient to feed 6 fogging nozzles of the proven type K-100 (0.8 lit/hr at 20 bar) or
4 nozzles K-150 (1.2 lit/hr) with water pressurized to such a degree that a micro-fog will emerge.
The pump is encased in a robust aluminium case and cast with a special resin to a watertight and sound-isolating design. Therefore it works almost soundless and has electronic fuses against overheating during continuous operation.

The electronic control box provides 3 different settings which have been designed specially for the care of exotic plants and animals. The designation "-IP65" shows that the controlbox is watertight and therefore can be operated in humid and wet surroundings.
Whenever the switching clock releases electricity (230V) the pump unit will start in the selected operating mode, in doing so it always starts with "interval" = slowly blinking LED.
an impulse function which allows for a single fogging cycle where the fogging time can be selected between 2 and 60 resp. 120 seconds, according to the settings
an interval function where the fogging time can be set from 2 to 60 seconds and a fixed interval of 120 seconds will be obeyed
an interval function where the fogging time can be set from 2 to 120 seconds and a fixed interval time of 60 seconds is preset
The operating cycles end whenever the switching clock closes.

Control by means of External Sensor:
If desired the "tropic" can be controlled by an external sensor.
The most popular version is a humidity sensor (Hygrostat).
However any other type of sensor (temperature, light, movement, ...) can be used to trigger the pump module.
Installation of a sensor can be done any time after setup !
The sensor will be inserted with its plug either between the switching clock and the pump or directly to the electric outlet. the plug of the pump is inserted into the coupling of the sensor ... ready !

For a breeder of carnivorous plants in Germany a control box with integrated switching clock and optional morning-dew function was delivered.
One year for the pump and accessories, ten years for the fogging nozzles.
Addon guarantee for nozzles: fogging nozzles which cannot be cleaned anymore according to our instructions, even for unknown reasons, will be replaced with the same type of nozzle without cost even after the ten years !

Shipping and Payment:
Shipping will be done by postal packet (Austria € 15.30, EU-countries € 19.20, otherwise according to tariffs).
Payment will be done cash advance.
Right to Return :
We grant all our customer of small fogging systems a trial period of 4 weeks to set up the system and test it thoroughly.
If the customer keeps the system all components which are installed will be paid; all other parts except leftovers of hoses are being returned to us.
If the system should not comply to the conceptions she/he sends back all delivered components; with the exception of shipping no additional cost will arise.
Expenses for cut hoses, cleaning and anything else is at our risk. We invest this into the satisfaction of our customers.
With receipt of the returned system the amount advanced will be re-transferred.
