During 2010 the rather old and insufficient glasshouses of the Horticultural College were replaced by a new glasshouse-complex. The old houses were already furnished since 1988 with Plantfog humidification systems.
The existing pump-aggregate is still in good condition, even after 12 years of continuous operation, and can be used after some minor modifications.
4 of the new glasshouse compartments which are used for propagation have been furnished with new piping and new nozzles and were designed for a relative humidity of 96% rH.
Climate in these compartments is controlled by the new glasshouse-computer.
6 larger compartments, where a humidity of some 65% rH is desired were furnished with our new fogging fans (our own design and manufacturing) and can be controlled by means of a local control-panel as well as by means of the glasshouse-computer.
The newly installed fogging systems has been designed and installed in a way that it can be extended any time.
